Time Management
Rather than providing a bunch of tricks, this approach teaches 4 fundamental tools as the basis to get more done. A Coach Thom style task list, a default weekly schedule similar to a student’s, protected “Office Hours” and Simple Project Planning.

DiSC
DiSC is an assessment tool of personal behaviour used to improve work productivity, teamwork and communication. DiSC is non­judgmental and helps people discuss their behavioral differences. If you participate in a DiSC program, you'll be asked to complete a series of questions that produce a detailed report about behavior. This can be within a work team, a sales relationship, a leadership position, or other relationships.

DiSC profiles help you and your team:

●  Increase your self­knowledge: how you respond to conflict, what motivates you, what causes you stress and how you solve problems

●  Facilitate better teamwork and minimize team conflict

Methods of Execution
This covers focusing on only a few wildly important goals, identifying the correct lead and lag measures, creating team based scoreboards and teaching a specific method for running progress to goal meetings. The topics are explained but then your whole company can immediately put them into use to come up with their specific department goals, lead and lag measures, scoreboard and creating a company wide atmosphere of accountability.


Breaking Down Business Profits into 5 Areas.
This was the basis of Coach Thom’s Business School Research paper. Rather than trying to fight Goliath, profit is dissected into 5 smaller more manageable areas: Lead Generation, Conversion Rate of the Leads, Increasing # of transactions for each customer, Improving the Average Dollar Sale or Invoice and finally Margin and Expense Management. 


Financial Management for Small Business
Discusses the parts to a Profit and Loss Income Statement and Balance Sheet, Gross Profit, How to Forecast Cashflow and Profit, How to Improve your cash flow, Gross Profit Per Man Hour Measurement, Break Even, Discounting, Inventory Levels are taught. In addition on going measurements with Flash Reports or Scorecards are discussed. There is a segment on the 7 types of Waste found in business. In the Workshop version, participants use their own figures are used.

Explains how to move from one step to the next and the requirements for graduation. Popular section on how to leverage team, systems, and marketing for faster results. Moves into true niche marketing and continues on to analyze the steps of team, systems, results and finally synergy.

The powerful way to ask questions to reprimand rather than using statements. 1 Minute Praising. Attaboys’ and well dones. Recommended for groups over 20. Coach Thom will speak for up to 2 hours on the topic, including 15 minutes of question and answer at the end. Coach Thom does 100% of the speaking

Workshop
Where participants are more involved in the presentation and there is actually discussion on the content.
Includes an interview with client to get at least three specific objectives for the workshop and get a feel for what will work best/won’t work the participants.
An estimated list in advance of the attendees to their positions to better familiarize Coach Thom with the class is helpful.
Workbooks for the attendees are provided.
